In their Press Release, GTRSystems and LSI announced a strong working relationship that will open new doors to Agencies that have not typically been open in the past. "GTRSystems has a unique opportunity to expand on the excellent relationships we have fostered over time by introducing LSI and their extensive capability in application development and GIS services to a broader audience" stated Greg Reinecke, President of GTRSystems.
Also, GTRSystems continues to hold to its mission of bringing working, practical solutions to the GIS market. With its application development support to Synchronous Technology, Inc (Santa Barbara, CA), on the Synopsis™ project, GTRSystems continues to expand its capability in internet and enterprise mapping solutions and is aggressively marketing this capability to potential clients within the public and private sectors. Synopsis™ is an application to provide emergency responders a spatial backdrop on which to overlay real-time dispersion model analysis while at the event as it unfolds.
In addition to our current capabilities, we are procuring technical expertise in the areas of web application development and systems infrastructure design while expanding our production services offerings. All of our activities focus on the geospatial market and the increasing number of complimentary industries that leverage geospatial information.
Position Openings:
Business Development - Establish and execute new business sales activities in the areas of GIS application development, mapping and GIS product development and process engineering. Experience: 2-3 years direct sales, knowledge of mapping and GIS business areas, strong written and communication skills. Reference position GTRS-MKT 105 in your response.
Application Programmer - Provide software development support to GTRS internal programs and external clients in the areas of digital mapping and GIS. Experience: C++, Visual Basic, and JavaScript. Understanding of client and server side internet programming is a plus. Reference position GTRS-DEV 004 in your response.
